Conservation: Carlhubbsia kidderi is evaluated by the international union for the conservation of nature in the iucn red list of threatened species as (LC) least concern (2018). There are no known major threats impacting this species at this time, its location in Calakmul Biosphere Reserve protects this species that showed lower abundances in the area (Vega-Cendejas, 2019).
